Yarn companies come out with new magazine titles twice a year. There are two seasons for yarn - spring/summer and fall/winter. The fall yarns (and pattern books) start to arrive as early as June and the winter ones in October. This varies with yarn companies, of course, and printing schedules, etc. full article
